SANA Breathwork was born from the recognition of the need to honor and diversify this ancient, profound practice. It’s a call to reclaim our space, our vitality, and our freedom. The breath offers us an opportunity to transform our relationship with the past, the burdens we carry, and our profound connections to nature and the land. Through this practice, we can begin healing the wounds passed down through generations, confronting the trauma embedded in our collective history. Breathwork provides a safe and transformative pathway to address these inherited scars, fostering deeper self-awareness and a renewed sense of our place in the world.

Tejal-Roma is a criminal lawyer and Co-Director of a UK-based Innocence Project, which investigates cases of alleged miscarriages of justice. She is also an intuitive Breathwork Practitioner, offering one-on-one sessions and facilitating trauma-informed Breathwork workshops, and is an active member of the UK Breathwork Association Community. Certified in Dare to Lead™ by Sara Nanaykkara, a Global Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator trained by Brené Brown, Tejal-Roma has gained deep insights into how courageous cultures drive meaningful change and transformation. With a strong commitment to compassion, she practices Gold Standard Trauma-Informed Care, certified by Nikki Lester, ensuring a holistic and healing approach in all her work.

Tejal-Roma believes in the power of breathwork to heal, awaken, and empower and is committed to bringing breathwork to communities that need it most, particularly people from the global majority and those often underrepresented in the wellness space.

Tejal-Roma believes in the power of breathwork to heal, awaken, and empower and is committed to bringing breathwork to communities that need it most, particularly people from the global majority and those often underrepresented in the wellness space.

Through her work, Tejal-Roma is committed to:

• Cultural Sensitivity: Honouring the deep, diverse roots of ancient practices while ensuring that they remain accessible to all.

• Inclusivity: Ensuring wellness practices are available to everyone, particularly those often overlooked or marginalised in traditional wellness spaces.

• Empowerment: Supporting individuals in their journeys toward healing, growth, and self-discovery, so they can reclaim their well-being and thrive.

The breath is our first and last connection to life. It’s an ancient, universal tool for transformation that too often goes overlooked. Tejal-Roma is here to change that. By bringing a trauma-informed and culturally aware perspective to her breathwork practice, she ensures that it acknowledges and respects the diverse backgrounds of those it serves.

Breathwork is for all, Tejal-Roma believes that its practice and its facilitation should be as diverse and multifaceted as the communities it serves.
